Public Hearing Date Change for the Farmstead Development – Case B-06-24ZPD
The Public Hearing scheduled for December 3, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. is now scheduled for Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.. The change of date is due to a publication error made by the Clermont Sun, as the proper legal notice did not appear in the paper dated 11-21-2024 as scheduled. Upon discovering the error, staff worked to reschedule the hearing with the Batavia Township Trustees and to ensure proper public notice as required by the Ohio Revised Code. All the notices to applicants and adjoining residents will be remailed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Energy Aggregation Changes - Electric
The Batavia Township Electric Energy Aggregation is changing from Energy Harbor to Dynegy. Affected residents will receive a letter in the mail noting the changes. We never come to your door. Your electric bill will be the same, just a different name on the line for the electric costs. All the services, rates, and billing will remain the same. The current rate is $0.0686 per kWh, and this rate is locked through July 2025.

Township Parks

Large Item Pickup
Republic Services has resumed large item pick-up for their customers. As a reminder, this is 3 large items per month and shall not weigh more than 50lbs (each item). The following items are not allowed: Hazardous materials, autos and auto parts, batteries, tires, etc. Mattresses and upholstered furniture must be wrapped and sealed in plastic.
