Jeff Uckotter has been appointed by the Batavia Township Board of Trustees as administrator. Jeff is responsible for the conduct of the day-to-day operations of the township government. Under the direction of the Trustees, his responsibilities include developing township policies and implementing the decisions of the Board. Jeff also works with Batavia Township’s fiscal officer to set the township budget and oversee its implementation via the township’s departments. The expected goal is the efficient and proper delivery of services to the residents of the township.

On November 25, 2019 the election results to dissolve the Village of Amelia were certified by the Clermont County Board of Elections. Both Batavia Township and Pierce Township Boards of Trustees have been working collaboratively with the State Auditor’s Office during this transition period, and have made sure that township services have been provided to all residents affected by this dissolution.

Large Item Pickup
Republic Services has resumed large item pick-up for their customers. As a reminder, this is 3 large items per month and shall not weigh more than 50lbs (each item). The following items are not allowed: Hazardous materials, autos and auto parts, batteries, tires, etc. Mattresses and upholstered furniture must be wrapped and sealed in plastic.
